Connecting Colorado Neighbors-The Foerster Team: Today Is The Right Day!

Today Is The Right Day!

Today Is The Right Day!

I spent some time this afternoon scrolling through some pins on Pinterest. I wasn't looking for anything in particular. I came across several quotes from Dalai Lama, so I did a search to see what else I could find. Lo and behold (does anyone really ever say that?) I found a few that I really liked. I'm going to share 5 of them with you (aren't you lucky?).

"There are only 2 days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday, the other is called tomorrow. Today is the right day to Love, believe, do and mostly Love."

"Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck."

"We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves."

"Once a year, go some place you've never been before."

"Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible."

Which one did you like? Or is there another you'd like to share?

Today Is The Right Day!

We've been working on that "go some place you've never been before" for a while.  Sometimes one or the other of us has been there, but not both.  This year was Donald's first time visiting Nashville and we had a fabulous time.

I'm a fan and believer of most of his quotes.  I have a daily meditation book of his thoughts and observations.

Donna, I love them all but if I had to choose my favorite it would be the first one. I think if we are doing, believing and loving ... we are doing and living life the way it was designed to be lived ... and loved

Tammy~ It is challenging to find a place that neither of you have been to before. I would like to go to Hawaii and Puerto Rico and Rich has been both places.

Norma~ We have a wonderful used book store. I should check it out for something like that.

Kathleen~ The first one resonated with me also (hence the title of my post). I also really like the one about traveling some place I've never been.

Nice quotes Donna. We only live for today although the world isn't made up that way.

The Dalai Lama epitomizes peaceful living. I enjoy many of his quotes. My favorite in your list:

"We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves."

Good quotes of inspiration. I especially like the being in the NOW. You cant change the past but you can change TODAY!

Donna  I liked all of them.  Another one I use in my by-line is:  Pray as if no work would help and work as if no prayer would help.

Every one of those quotes would make the world a better place if just a few more people would listen.

Debbie R.~ Sometimes it's a challenge to "be in the moment" and not distracted by what didn't happen, or what has to be done.

Agreed, Kevin.

Lottie~ Achieving peace...that's the goal!

Debbie G.~ I just need to be careful with my time. It can be addictive!

David~ We can always make change, going forward.

That's a good one too, John.

That's the tricky part, Scott.
