Connecting Colorado Neighbors-The Foerster Team: Old Town Parker Wine Walks 2014

Old Town Parker Wine Walks 2014

Old Town Parker Wine Walks 2014

Hosted by the Parker Area Chamber of Commerce, this year's Old Town Parker Wine Walks will take place on the 4th Thursday of the month, now through October.

This is your opportunity to visit some of the downtown shops, restaurants and businesses and get to know the people who work there and what they have to offer. Plus you'll get to sample some wine along the way!

Begin your "tour" at the Chamber office at the corner of Mainstreet and Pikes Peak Drive (in the center of town @ the traffic light). Pay your $15, get a map of participating businesses and your souvenir wine glass. You can visit up to 10 locations for a 1 oz. pour/sample at each.

The event runs from 5pm-8pm, however ticket sales end at 7pm. Make a date with a spouse, a friend, a group of friends, a neighbor or co-worker, brother or sister. Heck, bring the whole family and enjoy some time in Old Town Parker! (Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, you'll be doing some walking!)

Wow how many can't make it to the very end?  Must be fun to watch.

Donna, For only $15, I'd expect this to be a pretty popular event in Old Town Parker!

David~ It's a very popular event. Tonight was the first one and it was raining, so not sure about the turnout.

Kevin~ Some folks do get a bit "tipsy".

Liz and Bill~ People from all over come to visit with us small town folk!

Oh how fun this would be to attend. I love sipping wines and tasting new varieties - and from your former blogs - Old Town Parker sounds charming.

Hi Debb~ I was raining and cold last night, so I'm sure attendance was low. Hopefully the weather in June will cooperate!

Donna, it's a shame the weather didn't cooperate. It sounds like such a fun time in Old Town Parker. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Amanda~ May and October are always "tricky" months weather-wise for this event. June, July and August should be perfect!
