Connecting Colorado Neighbors-The Foerster Team: My Top 10 Favorite Things About Spring

My Top 10 Favorite Things About Spring

My Top 10 Favorite Things About SpringYard Sale Season

If you look out the window at my house, you wouldn't even know it's Spring! We've had cold temperatures and SNOW! Not that unusual for Spring in Colorado.

This weekend will feel more like Spring. We are supposed to have temps in the 50s (instead of the 20s and 30s that we've had for the past few days).

Spring is my FAVORITE season! There are so many wonderful things to LOVE about Spring.  Here's my list!

1. Opening windows to air out the house (love the fresh air)
2. Baseball (and hoping for a winning season and possibly a post season!)
3. Spring flowers (which I have not seen yet)
4. Unofficial start of grilling "season"
5. Spring cleaning and purging (we getting ready for yard sale)
6. Kids and families playing and picnicking at the park
7. Celebrating Memorial Day
8. Beginning of Yard Sale "season" (we've seen quite a few)
9. Eating outside on restaurant patios
10. Opening of neighborhood and community pools

Donna, I agree with all your points.  Although as a Mets fan, I realize the chances for #2 are very slim.

Donna, I, too, love spring.  All the  green and fresh new growth!!!!  Love it.

I love all of those things (well, baseball not so much) and the influx of home buyers too lol :)!

Wayne and Jean Marie~ The Mets are in town! I don't follow them, so I don't know about your chances of a post season. The Rockies are starting off strong, but who knows how they will end up. We need better pitchers!

Juli~ Spring is just plain refreshing!

Brenda~ Oh yeah, I left that out...Spring is the season for buyers and sellers!

Donna, spring in the mountains is about as good as it gets.  Have a great one yourselves.

Scott~ It's beautiful in the mountains all year round! :-)

I love seeing the green trees, the flowers, the smell of fresh cut grass. I like the smell of food cooking on the grill and the warm feel of the sun on my skin. I love spring!

Well, let's see Donna, your list is my list and we too are covered in white, snow everywhere- feet of it!  I like opening the windows the best and letting the fresh air inside after being cooped up all winter, I think that is my absolute favorite, and rain.....I love spring rain.

Debbie R.~ Good catch. I missed the "smells" of Spring. That could be a #11!

Mary~ It's warmed to the low 50s and it feels good. The sun is out, but also a few clouds. It will be warmer this weekend. We have family coming over on Sunday, hopefully we can take the grandkiddos outside!

Kevin~ If you are referring to a FREE Rainmaker account, I'm already there!

Tom~ I can't wait for it to get really warm so I can open the windows in my car and blast the radio! :-)

I love hot dogs on the grill...burned.  They have to be crispy.  And I also love waking up and hearing birds chirping.  It's so happy.

Eating outside at restaurants is so much fun--watching the world go by. I love spring too Donna.

Chris Ann~ Oh yeah, a hotdog has to be well done to be good. I like ketchup, brown mustard, relish and onions too. I actually heard birds chirping outside my bedroom window this morning. :-)

Toni~ I love to people watch and doing it from the patio is a lovely way to spend time.
