Nan's Tea RoomMaybe you have a special occasion to celebrate-birthday, baby shower, bridal shower, Red Hat Society gathering.  These are great reasons to visit Nan's Tea Room.  Come for Afternoon Tea, Children's Tea or Princess Tea (complete with your own tiara to keep)!

Located at 392 B Main Street in downtown Elizabeth, Colorado, Nan's Team Room opened in May 2010.  Hours of operation are 11am-3pm, Tuesday through Saturday.

On a recent visit to Nan's Tea Room, my girlfriend and I enjoyed a piping hot pot of tea, an egg salad Nan's Tea Roomsandwich and chicken vegetable soup.  No meal would be complete without dessert.  I ate every last bit of the pineapple sorbet.  My friend indulged in the chocolate zucchini cake.  The service was outstanding and food was scrumptious.

Other menu items include quiche, salads, scones (of course) and vegetarian menu choices.  To see the full menu and more about Nan's Tea Room, go to www.NansElizabethTeaRoom.com

Nan's Tea RoomLater this month, on Saturday, October 23rd at 3pm, Nan's Tea Room will be hosting a "tea tasting" event.  Reservations are required.  Cost is $15 per person (tax and tip not included).

How cute!  Have you ever gone to the Brown Palace for High Tea?  I am embarrassed to say that I never have, but i would love to sometime.  Maybe in my FREE time....?

I never knew having tea could be so much fun!  It's WAY better than coffee!

Donna, Nan's Tea Room sounds fabulous! We had a tea house here that was a special treat a couple of times a week, the tea selection was diverse and the food delicious! Sometimes a change like that is much needed!

What a neat little place in Elizabeth!   I'm going to tell my wife about it.  However.... tea better than coffee?  Now that's just crazy talk!  :)

I was the "girlfriend" in the post. The zuchini cake was AMAZING! I had a great time and Nan's is a wonderful little place.  Attmosphere, service, food, tea are all top notch.  I'll be taking my mom and aunt there in November when my aunt comes into town.

Hi Donna - Just looking at these lovely photos makes me relax. Nothing like a hot cup of tea as the days get cooler, especially in a cozy little place.

Afternoon tea. Wow, one of my friends would go absolutely crazy for this. When she visits Colorado, I'll have to tell her about it.
