Things to do in Parker, Colorado: Celebrate Arbor Day 2012
Join your neighbors and volunteer for the 2012 Arbor Day celebration! The Town needs volunteers to help plant 60 trees of various species, including: Elms, Bur Oak, White Fir, Pear and a few Evergreen trees. Bring the WHOLE family!
Be sure to stop by the Arborist table after the tree planting to meet the Town's Park and Forestry team.
Keep in mind, refreshments and give-aways will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early. (Chik-fil-A will be sponsoring breakfast.)
When: Saturday, April 28th, 9-11am
Where: Railbender Skate and Tennis Parker, located at 10543 Twenty Mile Road.
Parking: Near-by lots are advised. Parking at Railbender Park is limited.
Cost: FREE. No need to sign up-just show up! Please bring your OWN gloves and shovels.
