Are you ready for COLD weather?
For the most part, we've had a pretty mild winter here in Metro Denver and the surrounding areas. Last Friday, January 7th it was beyond cold. We had single digit temperatures. It was so cold, you didn't want to leave the house if you didn't have to.
I'm at that age when fashion isn't as important as keeping warm. I'm ok with big bulky coats, snow boots and mittens or gloves, whatever is necessary to keep warm. Toward the end of the season (cold weather season, that is) last year, I found an awesome hat. I was even lucky enough to find it in my favorite color - RED! I've been waiting all season this year to have an opportunity to wear it. With the cold snap we recently had, I had the perfect opportunity to make my fashion statement.
I love my hat, don't you? Makes you want to smile, doesn't it?
