Momma Was Close By

Baby Deer VisitingOn Wednesday night we were surprised by 2 precious little visitors. It seemed that Momma left them with a guard she could trust in her absence!

Many of you that read my post on Thursday, What's That By The Front Door, were worried about the babies and the absence of Momma. Well, I have good news. Momma was never very far away.

Momma and Baby

On Friday and Saturday we had a yard sale, so we were outside most of the day. We saw Momma and the babies down the street (and all of our neighbors watching them). Later on Saturday, they stopped by our house again, this time for some Momma/Baby time!

A friend stopped by the house on Sunday, and she snapped a close up of one of the babies that was hiding in the shrubs in front of our house. Just too stinkin' cute, don't you think?
