Four Sundays in One Week?

Four Sundays in One Week? Football Fans

That's what it felt like last week!

We had our family Thanksgiving on Wednesday with our oldest son, his wife and our grandkiddos.  (We have another son, daughter-in-law and grandkiddos in Texas too.)  They came early, helped make turkey and the trimmings.  We watched some Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel and played Apples to Apples after we ate.  That day felt like Sunday. (#1)

We spent Thursday in our sweatpants, sitting on the loveseat, watching football (and yelling at the tv) and eating leftovers.  In general, we spent the day relaxing.  Just the 2 of us.  No schedule (excpet for the football schedule), no phone call interruptions, no emails.  Thursday felt like Sunday. (#2)

No appointments on Friday. I watched back episodes of Haven, a Syfy Channel tv series based Stephen King's novel, The Colorado Kid. My granddaughter recommended it (she's 11, almost 12).  Thought I'd check it out. Of course, being the Stephen King fan that I am, I was hooked immediately.  Didn't do much else on Friday. Some blogging, maybe a load of laundry.  All in all, it felt like a (you guessed it) Sunday. (#3)

Finally, there was the ACTUAL Sunday in the week. We decided to have some fun and we drove up to the "mountains" to visit the gambling town of Blackhawk. We ate at the buffet, watched some football games, had a few cocktails and we gambled.  We had a good time. Headed home later than we planned and went to bed late.  Sounds like a Sunday, doesn't it?  Well, it was Sunday (for real this time).  That makes 4!

How many Sundays did you have last week?
